Hermes Auto Feet
The Hermes X is designed to be cross training shoes that will last you for a very long time. Its been conceptualized with body made out of Kevlar and the sole made out of natural and synthetic rubber. Although Kevlar has many applications ranging from bicycle tires and racing sails to body armor because of its high tensile strength-to-weight ratio, it’s the first time I’m hearing of it being considered for shoes. Moving on, the inner part is single unit injected foam, which can be replaced if necessary. Needless to say, Omer turned to the auto industry for his inspiration!

it’s a bit too SiFi looking to me. And to the name Hermes, has this anything to do with the luxe brand Hérmes?

I wouldn’t mind framing the sketchwork to decorate one of my walls; it is beautiful. As far as the shoe itself, it just looks weird. Using Kevlar suggest that the shoe will last forever?

I would bet this person does not design shoes. The heel has a concave ‘hub’ which Im sure was their inspiration for designing it this way but just try to imagine using the shoe before you go putting awkward non-anatomical stuck on design features like that geary heel ball wheel thingy. You heel would not fit in that shoe, or it would hurt. form should follow function, but i get it, its a car shoe.
