Actually they’re more like tiny bowls. This right here is a fantastic, I daresay essential tool for your kitchen if you’re really into chopping. I’ve got a major love for chopping, most people who love chopped up fruits and vegetables love chopping, we ALL love chopping. So this is the “Bowlboard,” where you can not only chop with ease, you can separate what you’ve chopped with ease into laid-in bowls. Then when they’re full, just lift em out and pour em. Such a brilliant little thing!

Who loves houses? Everyone. Everyone loves at least the idea of living inside their very own abode. Thusly, since I think you know that everyone also loved competitions, it’s always a fun time to look at the results of a housing design competition. Here’s one! This one’s held yearly by D3 and is called “Housing Tomorrow.” We’ve got the top five concepts right here, all of them housing, all of them hot, all of them architecture-tastic.

Texas Chainsaw Chair Collection

I hate to be the first to tell you, but making furniture out of the skin and bones of human beings is just flat out illegal. Basically everywhere. So just forget it. What we’ve got here is almost as amazing. A lot less terrifying at least. This is the “Skin-bone Chair Collection” by Lin Jinhong. Made to replicate in a non-grotesque way the skin, muscle, and bone of the body. Not necessarily of a human being, but let’s just say that to make it as amazing as possible.

Skip To More Power

Besides being good for your flubber, skipping seems to be a good way for harnessing energy to recharge batteries. I know this idea is not so new; we have seen how jumping a rope can power a torch and juice batteries. However design is not only about problem solving, but also about refining existing solutions, hence the E Rope. Refinement comes in the form of aesthetics and interface. Both look gorgeously done in this one. Moreover, the video says it all…..

Bus Stop High On OLED

At least you got decent bus stops in your country, so you got no reason to complain. Look at us, here in the developing world, we are modern enough to have internet at home, but basics like infrastructure and bus stops are totally lacking. So when I see innovation in such fields, I kinda get envious at times. Like, I would love to have a chic looking Inox-O Bench at my bus stop. It’s got fancy OLED screens to illuminate it and give you trivia like temperature and time. A proper shelter from the elements and a safer spot at night.

Dish Paws

Do you have dish paws? Paws that do dishes or any sorts of cleaning in a jiffy. So efficient that you want to have them on all the time, especially if you are a cleanliness freak! Basically we’re looking at mittens with polypropylene woven in a rope form, covering the outer skin. And it’s the whole glove that is being used as a cleaning brush or “Brüsh” as Liang calls it. Special attention has been giving to the pressure points like the tips and the base of the palm (color coded grey). These areas are covered with a harder version of polypropylene to add power to the scrubbing.

For you, the discerning consumer, here’s the best and newest undersea yacht. What’s that? You say they’ve already invented that? You say it’s called a submarine? You crazy. This is a submarine for people who want a pleasure cruise, not a U-boat can of sardines situation. This sassy lady can run on diesel or switch to electric propulsion. The inner surface is greater than 700mq, which, if you didn’t know, is large enough to have a good time in. Travel above the waves in the nice weather, cruise underneath them when the storms start to stir.

Simply called the DIY Player, this device is quite intriguing. The concept is simple, we as humans lust for a lot of shiny gadgets and hunger for innovation. DIY Player combines our greed for Cell phones, PMPs, gaming consoles and other such gadgets into one. It comes with a base screen and has detachable modules to it. Hook up the keypad to make it a phone or swap it for the gaming controls. Awesome idea, neat renders and a whole lot of imagination going on here!

Let’s Yank A British Plug

We all know what will happen if you yank a plug off the socket; the cable will snap internally or the plug-house will split open. It isn’t the wisest way to remove a plug from the socket! Unless you are using a 3 Pin British Plug! Just go right ahead and tug at the red-sweet spot. The reason why the cable or plug-house doesn’t snap, is that the cable is reinforced internally and the plug is made from durable PVC.
