Stuck to Rivers and Lakes

This right here is called “Waterfall.” It’s totally beautiful. Let’s just get that straight right now. Next, let’s talk about what the heck it is. It’s a project by designer Barbara Bona that came to her brain while she was studying the space of a window. Noting that while during the day, a window shows natural daylight, during the night, it’s totally just a black, blank screen. So she decided to take advantage of the space and totally light up the night.

The Real Guitar Video Game

The REAL, I said. The REAL one. This is the one where you learn a real, actual, applicable beyond the game skill. Habeeb it! The designer of this project had the idea stop upon his mind-grapes while he was watching friends jam upon Guitar Hero and Rock Band all day long. He thought hey, they’re so good at this, but they can’t play a real guitar at all! Well wouldn’t you know it, he was (and is!) an industrial designer so he pumped up his muscles and got to work creating what he calls “Vision.”

Wind Up With Glee

Putting it straight enough for you, Wind Up Socket has a timer to it, once you set the duration and time’s up, the electricity supply to that socket gets cut off. For grownups who don’t have many restrictions and can self regulate, this one may seem more cumbersome than anything else. But for moms with teens who don’t comprehend “half hour of TV / Videogames time”; this is booty! I’d only be careful of placing the cords of various gadgets carefully, otherwise its set!

So you can’t be a conductor of any musical symphony nor do you have any creativity in painting and art. Tough luck, but what if I gave you this magical wand, that allowed you to transform your ceiling into a magical landscape of color LEDs, that brighten up and dim at the flick of your wrist, wouldn’t you be the Mozart of lights? Draw The Lights makes you a capable light conductor! What I mean is that clusters of LEDs take command from this “light brush” in your hand, and sparkle to create mesmerizing ambient settings.

Wine? Wine Knot!

How much wine do you drink a year? How about a month? A day? Wow you drink a lot. And how do you display that wine out in the open? You don’t just stand it there next to your toaster do you? For shame! You’ve got fabulous taste in wine, you aught to be twisting it up nice in a knot, a “Wine Knot.” Everyone will ohh and ahh! at you when they stick their eyes upon this beautiful wood and metal masterpiece. This piece of wildness is made of two intersecting bent pieces of plywood held up by a simple metal rack. Rack em up!

Bumping Action Deleted

My memory for movies is trash but I’m sure there must have been many which featured a scene where the hero and heroine accidentally bump into each other, around a corner…papers fly outta their hand, they look into each other’s eyes and fall hopelessly in love. Revise this scene with the Corner’s Communication Warning Sign and it’s ought to be a killjoy. But for practical purposes, down long office corridors, restaurants and hospitals, this corner sign could save a lot of spills.

Never Singe Another Garment

As a new bride, it was expected from me to know how to manage all the household chores. The spoilt brat that I was, I didn’t even know how to iron clothes. Yes, the expected happened I burned many of my husband’s shirts, mainly because a telephone call or a whistling pressure cooker would grab my attention. I’d leave the iron right on the garment and come back to a gaping burnt hole! The Roly Poly Iron would have saved me a lot of clothes thanks to a built-in weight mechanism.

Pendolo for Listening to Pendulum

Have you heard of the “band” Pendulum? They’re totally insane. You could listen to them on these. These are super speakers. Super speakers indeed. Just look at them! It’s a 2 way loudspeaker system inspired by the sounds they’re about to play. The woofer is shaped to a sphere, while the acoustic base is a horn shape. One located above the other with the tweeter on top. The sound shall flow naturally!

Do You Have The Right Sexy Tools?

I didn’t know tools had to be so sexy (think Mike Delfino), ah naughty minds! I’m talking about this REPÄIRE TOOLSET; handy dandy and smart! All the necessary tools to help you become the puurrfect handyman, so much so that you can actually show this set off! It gets integrated into the bookshelf and within arm’s reach. What I really dig is the color combos and the way a central blue (or red) ring is the hub of all equipments.
