Oops, actually it was initially presented in 2005! You would think that with a half-decade, more could have been done to expand on the concept.

This is very similar to the ReacTable project from Music Technology Group at Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona, circa 2006, except this version has an integrated music library and a creative GUI. It’s pretty, but it seems dumbed down in comparison to the Reactable, which was a musical instrument as well as a entertaining device.
