The idea is certainly very nice, I do wonder about the flexibility of the system. Currently the train station area in Rotterdam is under construction and green walls in the form of 2m x 2m Ivy walls (its a product of Mobilane) in wooden crates can easily moved around. The planted some bulbs in them as well for the spring season. A complex system as shown here will probably be quite expensive, but correct me if I am wrong.

Another cost effective system is a kind of geotextile in tubes with soil/substrate in it. It is simply piled up and with some metal hooks the tubes can be connected. It is quite easy to plant strawberries or whatever in them, or moss will grow naturally on it.

Good idea forall climates save polar.
Radical.
Have a Green Wall divide Berlin with Acess either way for jobs & food prod.

Oxygenenation
Gardens.

Imagine one 200 miles long in Beijing China?
Hong Kong China, Hanoi Vietnam, Sydney Aus,
Sedona AZ US, El Paso TX US.

Great idea. Build this for 10 miles & gauge results.
Then expand from Proven data for other markets.
