With my Aeron, the center post always rub against the carpet and leave some stain, this chair seems to be having the same problem (i.e. center post too close to the floor).

It is a sharp chair and finally an accessible price point for Herman Miller product. But is seems more appropriate for a conference room than a workspace. I’ll stick with my HAG Capisco until something better comes around (been waiting 10 years).

It really is quite sad that Herman Miller STILL hasn’t moved beyond the lines created by Charles and Ray Eames with the Aluminum Group chairs in the 50’s. So much for innovation.

You need to check out this chair in person, it’s a big technological advancement. Made from 44% recycled materials, 93% of the materials are recyclable. While it weighs less than 20 lbs. (other office chair weigh 45-50 lbs) it is warranted for 12 years for people weighing up to 300 lbs. There are no adjustments, it is balanced and supportive at all angles. It also uses 75% fewer parts than most chairs.
