The idea of the product is to bring interaction and interest to a space. Using piezo-ceramic strips it does this with out using any external source of power, it powers it self. The last image in the sequence shows the system behind the product as this is as important in today's environments.
As the user brushes past an RFID signal is sent, powered by the piezo (this is all tested and proved as part of the project), and picked up by a compatible mobile phone (some of the new nokia's). I have used the signal to activate a social networking program that shows which of your friends have also been in contact with that product in that space. It is also split into different types of networks.
This hopefully would encourage real human contact and socializing in that specific space.

This is in response to piars request.

The idea of the product is to bring interaction and interest to a space. Great prospects in terms of social interaction and networking as well! Design styling is also super cool.

Saw this prototype at a design show..very well made and an excellent idea.
