Confused Between Mensuration And Menstruation?

I am having a crass sense of humor today thanks to designer Andy Kurovets, who brings us the Hygienic Sanitary Pad Layers Table and Sanitary Tampon USB! As if it wasn’t uncomfortable enough watching those adverts on the TV where “Blue Water” was soaked up by a pad, that now we gals have to endure an entire shelves-table depicting the layers of sanitary napkin soaking up the actual stuff. Maybe the boys need to know the difference between Mensuration and Menstruation!

R U Down W/ Fluorescent?

The quest for the new fabulous lighting fixture continues. What have we got here? A spaceship named “Sputnik.” Our newest obsession Oliver Schick has this T-8 fluorescent tube pendant luminaire whipped up and ready to take on the 70′s today! In an effort to revitalize the “clunky” ringshaped tube of that Star Wars era, Schick creates this space-inspired hanging lamp to keep the “time-tested” lighting solution alive!

Rebuilding New Orleans is an ongoing effort and pitching into the concept-zone is the New Orleans Arcology Habitat or NOAH. Since the details on this structure are in-depth and plenty, lets plunge into them right away. NOAH proposes to be a habitat for 40,000 residents who can benefit from the planned residential units, school system, commercial, retail, hotels, casinos, parking, and public works facilities.

Dispensable Water

The Source Project indulges in a whole new way of purchasing and dispensing packaged drinking water. The system requires store owners and vendors to install a Source Water Fountain outside their shops, like how you have those candy dispensing machines. You need to do a onetime purchase of the special Source Bottle from them, and then fill up the water. Every time you purchase a refill of water, you get credited a certain number of redeemable points. The highlight is the unique water-filling process and the bottle.

“Tikk, tikk… tekk!” The Special Sound Of Measure

No more approximations, not even if you’re blind. A reassuring sound of “Tikk, tikk… tekk”, two fingers and some Braille embossed cylinders, mix them up and you got yourself the Tikk-Tekk Rainbow! It’s a low-cost universal measuring tool that uses a string (ranging from 1cm to 100 cm) wrapped within the casing, and is extended between the finger tips. Kinda like how you use your hands to gesture an estimated distance; only Tikk-Tekk gives you the exact numbers.

The Universal Phone Has Sighted People Jealous

The Universal Phone is designed for both blind and sighted people. How? Thousands of micro pins dynamically raise and lower forming a tactile surface for all to get touchy with. Sighted people get the elusive tactile feedback they’re missing with ordinary touch-screens and blind people get a whole new interface made of braille. The idea was inspired by the little raised dot on the number 5 on almost all mobile keypads. Hey if it works, why not extrapolate the idea into a whole new interface?

We may not be able to end all wars but if this quattro is right, we can at least stop people from participating. Por que? Peace Robots serve the United Nations as an ad-hoc intervention squad. They’re subject to UN principles; neutrality and non-partisanship. “Non-lethal” systems enable them to defuse hot stops and potentially save civilian lives. Know what else? Da Balloon Light

Tis a variable volume lamp, the variable volume lamp you’ve always wanted! Aïssa Logerot inflates the lighting business with this thing called the “Lampad’air.” It’s an inflating lamp on a tiny tube with an inflating device attached. The light is intense. When the lamp inflates, the triangles move away from one another. When the triangles move apart, the light that can escape from the lamp increases! Wacky.
