I&#039;m the inventor, Michael Summers - patents US Pat. 7128629 - Filed Feb 27, 2006 - almost lost my son in a rip tide and developed the product. The product has won national innovation awards from the National Marine Manufacturers Assoc and the International Police Chiefs Assoc.
