This sofa has a seat and back of clothed polyurethane foam produced and sponsored by Recticel. This seat is gold. Now wake up! You aren’t dreaming. Here is the “Pleats-Pleats” seat for all your pleats and pleats needs and needs.

What if you could freeze mercury as it dribbled down the sides of a surface? You’d probably end up with something like the Flow Side Table – made from polished aluminum, laser cut, and punched drawn into its organic final form. The combination of flowing curves and highly reflective surface creates an ever changing appearance depending on your viewing angle. Brills right?

Or perhaps you’d like the Euro coin instead? I’m sure you remember the Lacie “USB Keys” post on Gizmodo earlier this month. That’s clever, and all, but these keys are way cooler. Way, way cooler. Because they are little metaphors. Get it? However much storage space you’ve got – that’s your richness in spirit.

Laundry Haters here is an easy route for escape, make friends with the folks at Scenario Lab and ask them to ship down the Deodr for you. This lampshade contraption will make sure that you won’t have to do any laundry EVER, except if get clumsy and stain your clothes! Perfectionists don’t wrinkle your nose in disgust, hear the idea through. Deodr is a convenient way to freshen up clothes without having to wash them. The system uses a photocatalyst light tube and fan-induced convection to get rid of the Body Odors and make clothes smell like spring!

What has one head, a shiny face, and hot beatz? YES! The correct answer is Timbaland. Timbaland, who can be played quite easily on these “Serpent Speakers” by designer Ben Wahrich. They bend and turn and sit and play dead. They stay bent, and can bend like crazy style all over your desk or table. My favorite option is turning them into what basically amounts to Hurcules Hooks – holding itself up with it’s own spine!

Have you ever walked through the park, looked to your right, and seen a man exposing himself to a rabbit? I have not. On the other hand, I have witnessed some strange public park activities. What designer Tristan Zimmermann (Science and Sons) has done is to take the wonders of public activities and mold them around the splendor of the bonsai tree. Potted plants will never be so innocent again!

Hi, my name is LED Lamp and my creator is not GOD. He’s an award-winning industrial designer called Mikko Kärkkäinen and he designs stuff for his own company called Tunto. I’m a here because the guys at YD think I look flattering and their readers will appreciate me. They think my pa Mikko should send them some free samples of me, because they want to experience my “gentle touch and no visible switches” design. I doubt my pa will ever send me over there, unless they do a giveaway or something!

The E-Pod dock crams everything you need to get the most out of your iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPod by acting as a speaker, movie projector, and alarm clock. It promises powerful hi-fidelity even those it’s not much bigger than a standard alarm clock. The most interesting feature is the projector. No info on how large, how bright, or how sharp the resolution but the entire thing does tilt. I see a few glaring problems with it tho. Do you?

I have a mystic side to me you know; I often gaze into this crystal ball that I have and it shows me quite interesting visions from the future. Just the other day it showed me an apparition of couples enjoying soup from a canister kind of object. I found it pretty strange at that moment, till the PLA Bottiglia arrived in my mail. Eerily enough, this biodegradable plastic bottle is meant for the future (2015 to be precise) and has two tear-off spoons on the outer hard shell. The 0.4l bottle is designed for people on the go, who prefer a liquid diet of soup etc.

Have a Green Thumb but always rued the lack of space, season or inclination to get your personal green-patch? No worries, the Eden Project is perfectly suited for such situations. It’s a scheme where you get to take home your own patch of garden for a while, tend to it and then bring it back to the community Green House, which is centrally located. It’s almost like owning a part-time garden that’s on a set of wheels and is very un-demanding.

Check out this very-strange abstract set of presentation photos for a slightly-odd lamp of epic proportions. Check out how large this object is, then note that it is only a lamp. An armature that resembles a Harry-Potteresque giant-phonograph, with three springy legs below. The lamp-shade creates an “enveloping feeling” for anyone under its singular eye.

All those people who scorn at green ideas, here’s the Mother of Them ALL, and its by biggie Philips, so lets see what you’re gonna do about it! Biosphere Home Farming is a structure that houses fishes, root veggies, grasses, plants and algae all under one roof. It takes all your kitchen-trash as fodder for the farm and manages to generate food, water and cooking gas for the family. In short you consume your trash in a more refined way!
