I live in South Africa and would like to know if this great idea is available for purchase?
And how do i go about purchasing it.

Hi,

I live in South Africa and would like to know if this great idea is available for purchase?<br

Could you please inform if this idea is available to shop? If it´s available, could you inform if it´s possible to buy using internet, or show me a place to buy, in Miami (if possible)?
Regards,
Marcelo

Hi everyone…

Could you please inform if this idea is available to shop? If it´s available, could you inform if it´s possible to buy using internet, or show me a place to buy, in Miami (if possible)?

Regards,<br

This idea is about energy harvesting and it looks ok to me. Regarding the tap and the pressure I'd say you are right but the way I understand this design the water is already out of the tap and then into the device, so no harm done.
Meanwhile thing bigger and imagine roof drain pipes fitted with such a device, taking advantage of rain water... and before somebody thinks about pressure and water speed and mass, consider fitting a Pythagoras' cup at the edge of your roof were all water gather to go down the drainage... this would work well for areas with heavy rains...heck it could even be bigger and more efficient

Hey you people are not seeing the big picture.

This idea is about energy harvesting and it looks ok to me. Hot/cold difference, water starts to flow, past this thing, voila. Hook your solar water heater up to eg. a well insulated oiltank and while charging batteries with the mini turbine and your shed is nice 'n comfy in winter with illumination from you battery powered LED lighting :)

Clearly you do not see potential other uses. You know it is possible to charge your phone from alkaline batteries right? (of course in an emergency and proper equipment) this will definitely generate more than an alkaline battery.
To all the people using about price and lack of brochure and the ability to obtain more data do you understand that this is a concept which has been generated and not a working prototype or a marketed product?
I was going to reply to all those who thought this was a system that had to have the tap running all the time to get the electricity but i see the designer has already put you in your place.
All the people complaining that pressure pumps are used to bring water to your place please you are just a fraction of the worldwide population many people get their water by gravimetric distribution and in many places people have actual water tanks on their houses due to the water distribution being erratic so for them this system is worthwhile stop being stuck in you little bubble. And again while it is true that in Britain we arent allowed to used the energy from water, i think this is not the case in many other countries. I would like to know the origin of that law if anybody has an idea about it let me know.

I believe this device can store the charge each time and then at the end you can get a very usable amount to do little things.
