Where unlike traditional exhaust fans suck the odor up into the room (and your nose) then into the the ceiling mounted vent. This sucks it out at the source of the foul scent. If you look closely, the toilet it self doesn&#039;t have one, but the piping of the &quot;grey water&quot; does. It&#039;s always needed because the oders from the sewer would come in.
