My ink cartrages cost £7.50 & £12.00 Y/C/M color (each) & Black (12USD & $20) I like the paper idea, but i would be worried about dust, I've had an printer with an uncovered paper tray and the amount of dust that it got in it was huge, also if the paper was particularly dusty the ink didn't stick. They were expensive enough already. I'll stick to my laser printer until I see a reason to replace it for paper dispensing perks. And isn't the USB power brick extending into the pathway of the paper in the rendering above? Look at your printer and I'm pretty sure you will see structures to support the paper after printing. The only problem I see on this printer is how it's going to deal with prints with many pages.
