electronic dimming of fluro's is acutually widespread in modern buildings. Its nice to see zippy get one wrong occasionally ;o). many modern buildings now have light sensors near the windows that cause the lights nearby to dim down progressively if the outside light source (sun) is allowing the minimum required Lux readings inside at peoples desks.

This is great!

We are looking for designs of similar innovative products. Check out www.shoeboxhomes.co.za - a charity in South Africa that designs innovative furniture for disadvantaged communities.

Enter the competition and win!

nice, dual zipper design. great idea. wonder if it came in different colors how that would change the overall effect.

i worked up a concept using aerated bubbled in a water column, double chamber acrylic tubing, increase/decrease the bubble output that was way more complex then this elegant solution.

Just need to incorporate a new design into things like unzipping the fly of a pair of jeans, a "endowed" woman's wetsuit, anything guys (or girls) unzip when they'll know they're about to receive something.
Next you'll need a lamp when to turn it on, you have to unclip a bra strap. Hah. And as guys, we ALL take pride in how quickly we can do that.

Um, I know. The sleeve has to be the dimmer with that kind. Which is why it's a cool idea, practical obvious solution. It was just an observation that the light is still on under the other 80-90% of it... Which is what surprised me as not being an 'issue' with anyone else. I seem to notice on this site that anything not squeezing every envirenmental advantage out of a situation gets called out.
