Is the Mepal collection BPA free? I own a drinking bottle for my daughter which has recycle symbol #7 on the bottom. This could imply it is made of polycarbonate which is not recyclable and may leach BPA as far as I know?

i have the narrow stacking canister for the container store and they a lot bet and they are a lot cheaper 4.99 to 9.99

i have a set from the container store also but don’t have any hand they just have good lids and are stack able they are clear and they can keep thing up to a cupel of year we have had are for 16 year and they still keep food good and look good

Have you ever kept sugar, flour, conflakes and other hygroscopic stuff in the original paper bag/box?
If you want to keep your dry foods dry and bug-free, nothing beats these boxes!
Plus they all have similar sizes and are usually neatly stackable, which saves a lot of space in stuffed kitchen cabinets.

2ndary packaging, Dont all these products get sold in packaging already? why not use that to store them in. this is just wasteful to transfer them into another device to store them?

One of my goals, before I die, is to have a pantry as neat as the one pictured. I’m so jealous! However, I think I’d rather have the mason jar type containers, as well.

I advise against buying these. I bought a set at the Container Store and returned all of them. The gaskets tend to roll up when you put the lids and then you cant remove them – and some just don’t fit well, allowing ants to get inside.
The Container Store has another design which is more like the old fashioned mason jars but with nice clean lines and chrome latches – get those instead!

Actually I like the MEPAL collection a lot more: they are just as sturdy, beautiful, they last forever (I have mine for more than 10 years), and they have a transparent lid, which is handy when arranged in a drawer:
