I bought a Flip Mino a short while ago & have been very impressed with it's performance & simplicity of operation. The inbuilt software is excellent (no driver disk to have to load on your PC). Direct upload of video to You Tube or to any email address. Small, lightweight, a true 'shirt pocket' video cam. Build quality is excellent, no paper thin squeaky plastic casing, feels solid in the hand.

I was so impressed I bought another Flip Mino for my nephew as a Christmas gift.

If you are considering buying one, just do it, you won't be disappointed!

The review on this site convinced me to buy the cam - thanks guys!

AVI is not a 'codec', it is a container. It can contain MPEG-4 format video just fine.
