This is a Superior Machine
Welcome to the future of modern luxury in a swagger-based social community and a me-based world economy. Amir Glinik presents the Ferrari Motorcycle. All your Akira dreams become reality with this flame red cased engine with a control board and handle bars full of esoteric lights and dials and meters that you’ll never understand.
Designer Amir Glinik proclaims the following: “Vintage and modern Ferrari projects influence my design. It’s a mix of what I find to be the best Ferrari lines with the latest technology I could think of in terms of engine, gear and driving management. Preserving Ferrari lines and history, the aim is to create a bike with normal dimensions using existing Ferrari technology; to take the ease of service as a factor while thinking about low profile and CG. To produce a practical machine and not in any way a “Star Wars” future ride…”
The bike packs a Ferrari V4 Integrated Drive Unit, hand controls inspired by the throttle quadrant of a F16 jet fighter, and a completely excellent touch-screen computer to manage the whole bike.
Mr. Glinik lays down the clicks and beeps: “The heart of the controlling system is based on a Ferrari engine management computer. On top of it lays the human interface. It’s a controller integrated with an all weather touch screen. You can manage bike systems or monitor information and diagnostic info. A few of the systems you can operate from screen are Suspensions Mode, Drive Mode, an Anti-Theft Device, radio, and GPS; but this is only the starter. In addition, information like RPM, speed and gear status show in a digital or analogue display switchable between Km/h and Sm/h. The system monitors all liquids and temp’s and even calculates the bike weight.”
This wickedness is undeniable.

bravo, you did your homework kid…now lets build ont (but add some rear pegs and a bit of a rear saddle for when you pick up a cute lady).

Fact: Mr. Aviv is a lecturer/professor(?) in Tel Aviv and I’m pretty sure he’s 45 years old, unless (born 63) means something else…

Woops! meant to post: http://3d-files.co.il/Amir_Glinik_Bio.htm

45 is still a “kid” to me…you stop being a kid at 50
Chris Burns says
fair enough

you know that front suspension travel looks to be about a inch and a half, better not hit ANYTHING or your going to be headed for the body shop (you and the bike both).
BlueBrat says
Sorry I do not see this as being a cool bike regardless if it is Ferrari or not. It looks ridiculous. if it really does have an innovative power-assist system as described, then good, I’m fine with this. But otherwise, the look of it isn’t going to stand the test of time, immediately or otherwise.
monroe says
Tech aside, I’m not sold on the ergonomic value of the design.
And for the form it’s been given, I suggest to stay away from red and stick with silvers, blacks, white heck anything but red, not unless you want to be known as that hotdog guy going around the city.
zippyflounder says
a black or silver ferrari?…only in hollywood
monroe says
lol.
an emblem can only go so far… well, at least for people with taste;)
enoo says
Well, IMO it’s … ugly.
Almost as massive/solid/un-stylish as a brick.
Iperpaolo says
very good renders…awful design. is it a dragster right ?
TC says
I’m sorry but there’s no ferrari design language in this. All the designer’s done is design a motorcycle and given it Ferrari’s red colour and logo. That’s it
zippyflounder says
what are you talking about, the flowing lines are concurent with the new models where the air intakes are reflective of the testarosa’s cheese grater rad intakes…..
powers says
Dude… think Ferrari designs of the 60s 250 GTO, etc.
scott says
The front wheel appears to be fixed., If that’s the case the only way to maneuver the bike would be to lean. It seems impractical and extremely dangerous.
another John says
Actually, to lean the bike you need to handle the wheel (by turning it to the outside) and it’s the only way to turn. With a fixed front wheel, you go straight or you fall.
If Ferrari made a bike, it would be a Ducati. Stop trying.
epierotto says
ok its a cool design, but… where did you put yours balls to ride this bike????
jose says
What about the fenders, Do you imagine a ferrai in the mood? (Most of the time). The Mirrors are quite low and ahead to see anithing with them, dou you need a support to park the bike…. many things to solve yet, to be a prectical (constructable and usable) dessing. very nice renders to start to work with a real and practical dessign.
jheylin says
Man, that is one ugly machine. It may be bad-ass, but you gotta have class as well (didn’t mean for that to rhyme, sorry). That’s why people buy Harley’s even though they’re not the best. Class.
powers says
You know, I’m not a big fan of most of the “Ferrari” concepts that blow through here. I’m really not a huge fan of Ferrari at all, but this chap has done a nice job. The fact that he is a seasoned pro, and that his dream cars would have been cars of the 60s comes out crystal clear in this design.
Keith says
Wow, this is one ugly machine.
Shane says
it’s a sock puppet!

I am a Ferrari fan and this Ferrari Motorcycle is a dream come true. Red rocks especially when the signboard has a capital F for Ferrari in it! How expensive can this be? Definitely this is beyond the depths of my pocket. This RC Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano from http://www.pressdigital.com.au/ however keeps me company especially when I can’t get the real thing whether it’s the car or your fancy motorcycle!
Shelly says
My first impression is that it’s a car. You just happen to sit on top rather than inside. The rendering is stupendous. Thanks.
GL says
This is a toy, right?
xonegon says
I like it more without the case. a motorcycle must show its iron horsepower
Maya The Bee says
Bolts , cables great renders, i couldnt see the suspension ? The bodywork isnt athletic enough in my opinion. It needs to be more aggressive, at the moment it looks like it needs exercise. Could be turned into a cruiser..
Edgar says
Nice renders an so but where are the ergonomics on this design? what happen after an hour with your back, legs or arms after ridding several minutes in high speed? security? explain…
Kazuhito says
No good… the air would go straigh into the pilots head, there´s no front shield, but it is very nice.
if you stability, look the hayabusa. It cuts the winds like a falcon´s dive.
kasem dusadeeprasert says
shouldn’t seriuos man… it’s just concept.
CAT says
this doesnt fit into recent ferrari designs.. plus IN MY OPINION it doesn’t have fast lines.. it’s too bulky and heavy looking unlike ferrari cars that looks low and fast!
Juan says
Oscar Mayer’s new Wienerbike. Awful ass hell. Nothing like Confederate’s designs.
