Drinking From A Drop
DROPPA is a carafe designed to bridge the gap between form, function, and space. It expands the feeling of liquidity out of an object that looks like a water droplet frozen just at the moment of impact. It’s organic and extremely architectural. The top of the drop is actually the cup by where you invert the stem to pour water into.

what keeps the cup on the carrafe if there is a bit of vibration…like a truck/subway…from chatering like crazy and crashing into the glass platter………would make a heck of a mess

There is a bit of an indent that would keep it stable in a restaurant or house where it’s supposed to be used.

So… where’s the design that comes with innovation, making life easy, feeling better and space saving, eco friendliness… surely, we need more manifestos, less students, more “products” as design.
design is nothing but design.
this is not.
may be called as an art, after the words “If they can not design, let them eat cake!*”.
“Let them eat cake!” by the dead Marie Antoinette.

this design make me feel boring

With 36cm in diameter of base, I think this should be called “drinkin alone”. It takes up too much room, then useless. Single usefulness.

It looks Awesome~~ !!!
Though it is NOT useful, Shape and Idea are so Good!!!!
