This water bottle is pricey, but I think it’s worth the cost. I love the design, and they now have new colors. Ran across a video on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkxlM5LmM_o

The lack of love for this product is disturbing. I bought some to give as gifts at christmas (and one for myself!). It's a water bottle. Yes. But it's been designed properly, the spout is perfect the lid mechanism is amazing and it make me feel like I'm from the future.

A simple product to fulfill a simple task and it performs it brilliantly. Highly recommend it.

Paul from KOR here. To answer Carl's question, it's meant to be refilled. Our entire goal is to move folks away from bottled water to reusables.

pretty. and expensive.

Here in San Francisco, there has been a major shift away from the bottled water culture you mention. where you used to see everyone with plastic bottled water all the time, now you are far more likely to find people using steel bottles - a consequence of the social awareness of both factors you mention: environmental impact, and health scares. it gives me hope, but still I see far too much wasted plastic.

oh, and of course let's not forget that tap water is better for you in most cases than bottled water!
