Drove once in the 80 with a guy who had one. The Engine is covered, but the "roof" kept up so many Noise, that was a loud ride, think that this concept would be probably even worse, the heat and the Noise would be to high to ride in it. Why he dont put the Engine all the way back and capsule it? Wipers are on the Scimitar not availb. and we didnt need it. Solve the Engine and build it ;-)

Looks a little bit like a Glastron Scimitar. Drove once in the 80 with a guy who had one. They are stadard equipmenton many boats. Also, many mid-engine cars have a firewall and window separating the passenger compartment from the engine compartment. Why all the negative comments? Designers normally are optimistic and solve problems. The reality is when some decent concept work shows up, the ego-driven design gods get a little intimidated. I wonder if any of the negative people have any experience with G3 surface modeling and setting up a decent render in any of the higher-end software.

So windshield wipers for a boat windshield is a longshot?
