Lenticular printing is a technology in which a lenticular lens is used to produce images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles. Most of us have seen postcards printed in this fashion and though it is a rather old printing technique, we all still seem to be fascinated by the effect and often stand slack jawed as we shift the image back and forth.

For some reason egg shaped objects induce an autonomic “awwww” response in my brain. Yea it’s cute but this Egg is more than meets the eye. ‘Crack’ the shell and two pieces become your satellite speakers while the base acts as a subwoofer. The base also provides a dock for your MP3 player. It recharges via induction and when portability is a must – comes with a cool neoprene jacket. Do want!

To arouse ourselves from our hibernating, most of us have devised some pretty unique ways of getting our collective asses out of bed. One of the most common rituals is to crank on some upbeat tunes and splash water in our crusty faces.

The very first Gold Medalist for the upcoming Olympic games has just been announced and designer Soyun’s ‘Olympic Torch for Mumbai, India.’ torch concept is at the top of the heap. This concept was unique in the way it incorporated each participating countries flags in a mosaic of colors that when complete, represents the unity and spirit of the Olympic games. Inspired by host country India’s textures and culture, this winning design clearly possesses the winning edge.
An exclusive, hi-tech concept watch aptly named Shine – combines luxurious gemstones with advanced technology and materials. Using a unique laser projection system, time is displayed by a touching the logo. It’s completely made of hi-tech white ceramic filled with over 200 square cut white topaz gemstones. If this were real, every celebrity socialite would be wearing one now. Can we say bling?
