I think this is a wasteful design, there is no faucet so what other purpose does it serve other than disposing vegetables, which of you should be composting anyways. This probably is expensive, and serves little purpose.

What? It doesn’t put it in the stash, it puts it into the garbage disposal. The appliance that cuts up food and sends it into your sewage. A garbage disposal is a very green appliance here in America, they use the ground up food waste at the sewage plant to make fertilizer.
