It’s the era where we need to be multifunctional, multi-everything! That rule applies to our batteries as well; if they only juice-up our devices then they are no good, they need to double up as something more. Like this IF-battery, it powers your devicesAND has pins on the side that pop out, and plug into a socket for recharging. This does eliminate the need for a recharging station, but it also means you can charge only one battery at a time. The whistle is for calling for help when the bad guy attacks, the bandages and disinfectant spray address the wounds being inflicted upon you while waiting for help to arrive, and the pill box has both medical and recreational uses.

This is a very well thought-out design. I think it is at least conceptually really neat.

I'm really surprised not more people like this design. It makes a dangerous assumption about both people and sharp things, which is a very hostile one. Just because it's a knife, does not mean it's a weapon.
The knife, being one of man's oldest TOOLS, is not automagically an aggressive, weapon-y, dangerous object. Anything, even two fingers extended in the "Peace sign" can be used as a weapon--ever heard of an eye gouge? The knife has made many other things possible, including making OTHER TOOLS. Without the knife, we wouldn't have much else, including a "civilized" way to eat our food. In fact, unless this thing came in uber-green packaging, you'd probably need a knife to get it out of the package.
BTW, for all those people who are phobic about pocket knives, hunting knives, anything sharp, better stay out of your own kitchens. Stay out of the sewing stuff, too, 'cause scissors are just two knives screwed together. Put that in your bong and smoke it.

This thing is anything BUT peaceful. Take a cue from the Victorinox plus knives, and have the traditional tweezers and straight pin on the other side of the handle. Now you could pluck out that splinter, hit it with disinfectant, stick a band-aid on it, and take an aspirin, for your most stressful boo-boos! You'll feel so good you'll feel like making music...with your handy whistle!
(this is no less silly than swiss army memory sticks :)

They missed a sterling opportunity…what’s a Swiss knife without tweezers?
