Also, I remember when people held out for a 'bamboo notebook' that ended up being a notebook, with a bamboo plate around the touchpad and that was it ... I'm not fond of 'captain Kirk' cellphones, so I might be biased, but I'm pretty sure candybar phones need less materials. If we're truly talking about eco friendly and biodegradable, I think we should approach the design of cellphones from a completely new point of view.
