I don’t think this was designed with comfort in mind. Unfortunately as humans, we have made it very acceptable to have aesthetics trump functionality. If I owned a business firm of any sort, I would easily buy this couch for a waiting room, office etc…. I don’t really care if they’re comfortable while waiting for a meeting, as long as the space looks classy.

Great concept, but why have a nasty, uncomfortable bar instead of a back? What has happened to us, as a society, that we can no longer make comfortable sofas?

When I want to redecorate a space, I get my sofas from next to dumpsters. They aren’t pretty, and they don’t have clever tricks, but they’re much much better than this product at being a comfortable place to sit, and that’s really the only thing a sofa was ever meant to be.

Another bad design: solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.
