Made from Europly, a completely sustainable wood, these vertical blinds create this much craved atmosphere. The abstract pattern was inspired by the bark of the Birch trees which line McCarren Park in Brooklyn, and from there they also got their name. The Brooklyn Blinds have random perforations that are rendered into the wood, allowing small inlets of light to pierce through. As the sun shifts, the light dances creating a beautiful effect inside your home. By night, those passing by the window from the outside will see lights moving from within the home. - Via - Yankodesign [...]

[...] Brooklyn Blinds are designed by Carrie Solomon and they can create a really unique atmosphere in your house.
