Collapsible Dish Rack
Now this is a must for any small kitchen. Designer Jill created the Splat Dish Rack which is intended to address the need for additional counter space in the kitchen. The collapsible design is punched out of one sheet of plastic and can easily be stored flat in a drawer when not in use. Splat features smooth flat surfaces, making it easier to clean and manufacture than traditional dish racks. (Patent pending.)

Simple, practical and effective. I would suggest to make it heavier though just to make sure its actually holding the plate up.
Amazing idea I must say. =D
