Oyster-shaped Bar

Patrick Jouin has designed Gilt in a series of sumptuous, historic rooms in The New York Palace Hotel. Dominated by a lilac, oyster-shaped structure and a white Corian bar, the restaurant resembles something from a futuristic film set. Awe-inspiring dishes by chef Christopher Lee are served in the theatrical interiors, which are beautifully complemented by Jouin’s custom-made furniture.
