I would venture a guess and say it’s not a standard USB plug but rather those half plugs. Like those thumbnail drives a while back that everyone kept losing.

Also, I have to say it’s something of a bad design *unless* you’re using a laptop or that rotating plug rotate more. I’m looking down at my tower USB, and they are flat against the panel. If I were to try and plug it in as it’s shown in the picture, it wouldn’t reach.

I dunno, it seems like there are far better ways of accomplishing this.
