		<description>i agree, this design would no allow for enough traction, also you cant do tricks on it b/c there&#039;s no kicktail, so right there downhill and street skating are out the window. the only this board would be good for was cruising and even then the fact that it has such a low surface area touching the ground would cause the rider to be easily thrown from the board if he it any small obstacle.</description>

you don&#039;t always want lots of grip, escpecially going 50mph into a sharp corner. Drifting the corner or loosing some traction is essential in speed control. Theres a whole concept of drifting before the corner, hitting the apex of the corner and then &quot;sling-shotting&quot; out pf the corner. 

I&#039;m sure the tappered wheel design would also be completely horrible once speed wobbles occur.</description>

		<description>Some ideas here are good, low center of gravity for one. But the turning will not well for anyone that is experienced with skating. As you lean over and hit the turn wheels you will turn at the radius they are set at. With traditional trucks you lean a little, turn a little, lean a lot, turn a lot. Here it&#039;s one radius or none. Incorporate a kicktail so the the front wheels can be picked up and the rider can pivot on the rear and maybe it will work, but like this it will get old quick.</description>

i tell you this as a
- product and industrial designer 
- composite downhill- and slalom-deck producer
- worldcup skateboard-downhill racer
- F1 composite technician

ps.: depending on road surface a presumably slower wide &amp; soft wheel can be way faster than a hard wheel or small contact patch that rattles you to death.
