Designer Hoon Roh (love the name) is one of those interesting designers that look to nature for inspiration in regard to design and function. One oft studied organism is the bee, moreover their unique honeycomb hives. Thru millions of years of evolution, nature has perfected a design language for the bee, creating chambers that provide optimum support while staying frugal on building material.

Hoon Roh uses that research nature has so carefully accumulated thru millions of years of design to create objects that look hypnotically organic.
