Chalkboard Dining Table by Henry Julier
No need for the “napkin sketch”… now you can draw right on the table. The Chalkboard Table has a chalkboard top surface, allowing for creative expression during dinner. Seats 8, and has wheels for easy transportation.

You can already do this!
Go to any major paint retailer and look for “chalkboard paint”
Turn any surface – door, table, floor, walls, cabinets, bookshelves…
Into a chalkboard.
This also works with the new “magnetic paint” which is black paint with tiny iron filings.
Go!

Omg….. Is this safe for children? Eating on a chalk board can be dangerous, because of the toxic chalk residue…..

“Most of the chalk available in the US is certainly manufactured to be non-toxic and in some cases even hypo-allergenic. The liability is too great for the producer not to insure that it is safe to be around children.” -After a 10 second google search.

Okay I seriously like this idea. Who cares if you can get it done anywhere else? If I could draw on my table, I would absolutely love it. I normally always draw on my napkins while at the dinner table to keep me occupied. Haha.
