What wtFrak and Danny said was true. The idea of this BrakeLok is a bit raw. But nonetheless, this kind of auto parts can really somehow protect your car from thieves.

This is an old idea! My father had one of these 15+ years ago! the same function, even very looked similar design wise
(was a loose fit sleeve over original brake and required a couple of special grub screws to tighten to brake-lever, then key lock to press button)

Wouldn’t a car owner want to deter a thief from entering the car in the first place?
With a wheel lock, there are visual deterrences so a car would be protected from potential thiefs. but with this there is nothing like this.

Naive concept. The rear brakes (which is what the e-brake engages) are not enough to immobilize a vehicle. At best it’s going to overheat and warp the rear rotors (or drums). Apply this to the gear selector on a manual transmission vehicle and you might have something.
