The designer clearly does not have kids. A single pole support? First time the kid finds the edge of the table with his foot, he’s going over.
Don’t get me wrong, I wish high chairs were a little more stylish, but they also have to work in day-to-day living.
Then again, I suppose I could sue after a fall…

Actually, depending on the width of the base – the child might not fall over at all…that is unless by “child” you mean “8 year old” and then if you’re trying to force them to still eat in a high chair – you probably have other issues.
